Took the day off work on Monday and fished CHSP. Water clarity was the best I have seen this year so far. I caught a short weakfish around the piling on a spec rig with live minnows. Then I drifted over the shallows east of the pier and got a flounder on a double drop with more live minnows. Next I headed back to the pilings and started using frozen minnows when I ran low on live. Missed at least two other fish trying to set the hook too early but did land a PB flounder and another short. It felt good after getting skunked during the M&G. Good day on the water and planning trying to get out there again for the 4th of July weekend.
