Hi all,

Planning on retiring in southeast Delaware.
Any opinions as the kayak fishing in Milsboro,Milton or Milford?
I'll be down that way on Dec 3rd to check out area.

Welcome! Delaware is a sweet place to kayak if you like saltwater. You obviously have the ocean if you're into that, endless back bays and canals, the Delaware Bay and Cape Henlopen State Park, and a (relatively) short drive to other good kayaking destinations in Maryland and Virginia. Stop by Delaware Paddle Sports on Rt1 on your trip and talk to those guys and they will tell you more I'm sure.

In addition saltwater, Delaware has excellent freshwater fishing opportunities.

I'm actually leaving Miami Beach Florida after living there for 40 years.

I rarely fished saltwater before I got a kayak.

Now I enjoy both.

Welcome. I haven't fished extensively in Delaware but I have fished Millsboro pond. It had plenty of quality bass and pickerel but it's very shallow and full of stumps. Be very careful if you have pedal drive.
