I got out on the water for the first time this year on Saturday. Bit windy and cloudy with light rain at times. I trolled out to the end of the point and back around the inner wall. Caught my first short striper on the far side of the wall. A bunch of folks were togging on that side in the protection from the wind. I passed around the north side of the wall and fought the wind back to the pilings to see if any flounder were active yet. They are not. I did land two more striper around 15" each. It was good to get out on the water for a shake out cruise and figure out everything I was missing. Talked to two other kayakers who caught three tog between them also. IMG_0911[1].jpgIMG_0907[1].jpg
