Before picking up an Outback at Delaware Paddle Sports, I fished 6 hours at the inner and outer walls for togs. At the outer wall, I fished all depths in 10' - 50' of water.
There were one more kayaker and a boat. There was no bite at all. The water temp was 46 F. In CHSP, the water temp needs to be above 50 F for past several years.

2016 & newer Outbacks have the Vantage Seat.

2017 & newer also have the 180 Mirage Drive 180 v1

2018 & never have the Mirage Drive 180 v2

Our Carribean blue is a 2008 or 2009, i'm with you 100% as my PA has the vantage seat, but the lightweight hull of the outback is AWESOME for portability!

Not because of my 2013 outback. I just wanted my last kayak to be a newer Outback with the vantage seat.
