Wanted to try Roosevelt Inlet to search for togs. I did search, with green crab and shrimp. I also did some jigging for a stray striper or red or whatever. It was cold, windy (20-25 mph) and choppy. Current wasn't helpful either. Turned out to be a short trip. Absolutely nothing, not even a nibble.

I didn't go. Stayed close to home and managed to find one 25" Striper

I can't fish remote place (CHSP or CBBT) on weekend because of my work schedule for a while. I barely make a short trip during a weekday. Though I bought 42 blue crabs the other day, and made 7 vacuum sealed bags of 6 crabs. These frozen crabs and additional 2 vacuum sealed green crabs of 12 in each bag are for the late December and January. I am planning to fish CHSP or CBBT in late December, and CBBT in January. Dang I have more than enough baits, but no fishing time.
I now have a red Outback for togging. I hope I can put it to use soon. Keep on fishing!
