Went out Saturday and hit the pilings and the inner wall from 0900-1400. Not much action besides a few skates but the wind had died down and the water got to be nice and flat. I took my brother out for his first time fishing from a kayak in salt water. He did catch a skate that was the largest fish he had every hooked into (He has fished fresh water fro the most part). It was good to see him land it on a light rod and get a little bit of a ride in the process.

Sounds like a nice relaxing night, were you guys bottom fishing catching the skates?

Yup, we were mainly soaking clams and feeding horseshoe crabs.
