Pedaled out to a completely dead outer wall at 5 am. Stayed for 1.5 hours with only an oyster cracker and mayyybe one tog bite. Came back in determined to catch something so I went to the lewes canal. Miraculously I hit a 22 inch flounder about five minutes in on my first drift. It hit so hard and peeled drag I thought it was a striper. Drifted a long way with the tide before turning around and coming back with the incoming. Got maybe another 5 short flounder, a couple small weakies and more croakers than I ever wanna see again. At least some were nice sized.
