Pedaled out to a completely dead outer wall at 5 am. Stayed for 1.5 hours with only an oyster cracker and mayyybe one tog bite. Came back in determined to catch something so I went to the lewes canal. Miraculously I hit a 22 inch flounder about five minutes in on my first drift. It hit so hard and peeled drag I thought it was a striper. Drifted a long way with the tide before turning around and coming back with the incoming. Got maybe another 5 short flounder, a couple small weakies and more croakers than I ever wanna see again. At least some were nice sized.

One keeper flounder is a good day for me.
Thanks for the outer wall info. I am hoping triggerfish show up in good numbers next weekend

Was hoping it would be loaded the last two mornings when I was the only person out there! But oh well flounder is my favorite fish to hunt with the kayak but damn those triggers are tasty

That big flounder hit the pink gulp teaser. Got a couple of the shorts on my buck tail tipped with a croaker strip or a 5" gulp twister tail.
