Wow! That thing really put up a fight, can't wait to try catching those some day. What # test line were you using?

Yea I got pulled way out by that guy. When I hooked it I was in the middle of the fleet which you can see way off in the distance by the end. I was only using 10 lb flouro and had snapped off 2 fish right before this one which is why I was playing it so gingerly. They both broke on the actual strike which was pretty unbelievable but they hit those spoons while they're moving sooooo fast if your drag is too tight its an instant breakoff.

I'm game to make a run at them! I fish MA a few times a season (or try to!) and I will definitely be going back up there this May/June timeframe for large Rock and Black Sea Bass! Last year the bsb bite in Buzzard's Bay was on fire and I caught some nice fish up to 22"!

LOL! Masgouf magically makes many things taste soo much better! It's the whole slow roasting and everything drips out process...

8 Hours from central MD, will be about an hour less when I get the family moved to Bel Air.
