Everglades National Park kayak fishing & camping

Escaped that last snowstorm a couple of weeks ago, and headed down to south west Florida with my brother. We paddled, fished, and camped 3 days, 2 nights.

We camped Jewell Key the first night, and Picnic Key the second.

Returning to work was unpleasant. I'm ready to go back.

Did you just paddle out of Choko?

We paddled out of Everglades city. I rented the tarpon 160 from one of the local kayak rental shops, and we launched from there. Paddled out the canal into the chokoloskee bay, then south to Jewell key.

I have done some trips out of Choko with Everglades Kayak Fishing on their yak attack boat. I really love that area. If youre ever looking for someone to round out a trip please tell me-I promoise I am not a serial killer!! hahaha
