Hit the Mattawoman with Capt. Mike of Indian Head Charters yesterday evening. This has become an annual event for me. Always fun to fish with Capt. Mike and always learn a little something. And he always learns I'm a lousy fly caster! 
Picked several nice LM bass and, of course dropped the biggest. Also caught my 3rd snakehead of the year. The good captain was kind enough to filet it for me so I will break down and try it today. I've kept in on ice so will be fresh. I'll report the culinary results.
Also mentioned Redfish12's moniker for them as "Potomac Pike". Capt. Mike liked it so much he said he will from now on only refer to them as "Potomac Pike"!
