The number of fish species available to kayak anglers in that area of FL is amazing and makes it a great destination.

I was never a FL fan. My in-laws used to live on the Space Coast and it was nice to visit them, especially in winter but it never tugged at me as a place where I'd want to relocate. However, I think the west coast of FL near Tamp/St. Pete has more to offer residents than the Space Coast. Also, the fishing is outstanding. Were my present life circumstances different, I think I could be enticed to move there. Although, dodging hurricanes is not something I would enjoy.
