We went to Shoups Landings, Bennets mill pond and Merchants mill pond. We had a great time and was able to catch a good amount of bass as well as other species. A high light for me was a PB pickerel.

Nice going! I'm not familiar with where that county is in North Carolina. Beautiful pickerel there and nice looking water to kayak fish in. There are so many good looking places to fish in North Carolina.

Thanks. Ya it is really cool. My wife's family is from there and my best friend lives in GA so we decided to meet there. They were all new to us so the swamps looked like something out of a movie. If u go down there Ahoskie would be the closest town to stay in. Everything was within an hour and still didn't go to half the places we wanted in 3 days.
