Fished Isle of Palms and Hamlin Sound again Saturday 04/30. Felt more like one of those wildlife shows...Not being insensitive....this deer, which has seen better days, was on an oyster bed. Never seen that before. Fished another island and was shadowed by this coyote. As for fishing, caught a bunch of redfish. Some close to 30". That bite was excellent for a while. A decent trout, Spanish Mackerel and a few bluefish, horse mullet rounded out the mix throughout the rest of the day.
For those of you that get a shot at redfish later in the year up there in the Bay or Potomac, if you are not already using a gold spoon for them, I highly recommend. Very effective in an array of situations for reds and pretty much everything else. In fact, Saturday it accounted for 5 reds, a bunch of bluefish, some Spanish Mackerel, a 20 inch trout and other species. Yes, I still prefer bait but could not be more impressed with this lure.
