I decided to go out before sunset on a count of the weather forecast for this weekend. A small, medium and large smallies is quite the way to end the day. Also stop by the store and got a 12 pack to end the night right, tightlines....

I was using a 4" Ghost Bass Assassin with a 2.0 hook rigged Texas style and 1/8ounce bullet. Sort of like using a fluke but replace with a sea shad. The grass cover is directional to the current flow varying 2-3 ft below the surface. The sexy shad dances well in the swift current using a slow/stop retrieve.
