I wonder what impact, if any, this tropical storm might have

I'll take the sea robins over the rays I was catching this past weekend. Do you guys have an idea of what channel you will be on the radio? I'm not sure what time I'll get there on Thursday, but I'll probably launch right away and check the radio to see whose there.

Looks like a rainy Fri, Sat & Sun. Thinking about bailing out of the trip?

Winds don't look bad at all, 5-15 mph. Temps in 60s. Water/chops won't be bad either, especially in a protected area. Lots of cloud cover. There's chance of thunderstorms.

Looks like the bad day is Friday. Rain forecasted to be heaviest on Fri. Better days are Sat and Sun. I guess if you don't mind rain, it's still very doable. I plan to fish early Fri morning, so it won't be all that pleasant that day.

Overall, it doesn't look bad enough for trip postponement. Often times, as I've heard, wx like this bring on the bites.

Would having a pic of you with a big-a__ striper on your lap be worth the misery of enduring rain?

Fishing in the rain is no problem! Its the camping, changing clothes, storing wet gear for the next day, just staying dry on land and being stuck inside your vehicle that blows!

High rain chances for Friday day and night. I figure I fish and get wet Fri, then dry out Sat & Sun....lol.....

Hey, I recall no fishing license is needed, right? All we have to do is register on some site (I did prior to the tournament, but I forgot the site). Also, I did see some kind of $50 fishing fee for Lloyd Bennet Field and Riss Park. Now I'm a bit puzzled.
