Leopard Shark San Francisco Bay

First one from my kayak, I missed his big brother

That is a cool looking shark.

Went out again yesterday and caught one between 3 and 4 feet, he was fighting too much for me to get good measurement and his teeth were a little bigger , had to cut the line and let him go. You can keep sharks over three feet long, I heard they taste good but I am told you have to bleed them right away to preserve the meat.

Frozen squid works best, frozen herring also works, 2 oz weight with about three foot leader.
