What a day of fishing. It was a brutal cold ride out, but man oh man...I've never seen so many big tog.

Epic day!!! I think we all caught personal best tog (I got 2 over 10lbs I think!) and learned a lot about deepwater winter tog fishing! I missed a few good hits that have me thinking there were bigger fish down there!!! Great Captain but not the most comfortable boat in this weather (read, no heated cabin- but hey we are kayak guys right?!) so if you go make sure you dress warmly!!!

Those are nice Togs! What was the length on the biggest? I can't imagine catching a tog that size on the yak, a 19" Tog seems like a monster to me when it comes up!

I too had a great day with my personal best tog ever of 12 to 13 pounds. There were over 10 togs just over 10 pounds alone. It was a cold trip going out. It took a awhile to warm up. We stopped at Buffalo Wild Wings to get something Hot in our stomach, but enduring the cold was all worth it! Happy Birthday Grady! Whose birthday is NEXT!

It was truly EPIC! I have never seen action like this fishing for Tog! It was pure pandemonium from the 1st hookup! The bite was non stop! It was amazing. I wondered how long it would have lasted if we didn't reach that pesky limit! LOL!

Captain Adam was great! Yes it was cold, but from just talking to him he puts in the time to put his customer's on fish. Now granted we had an awesome day, but what , made me consider booking him was his past reports. Dude puts up numbers!! If you get the chance to fish with Adam do it!!

And THAT is how you celebrate a birthday! Congrats!

Those are some awesome tog; certainly worth braving the cold for!
