I know this is a long shot but there are a lot of other travelling fishermen on this site... I am going up to Toronto for 3 days in late August and will be staying right on the harbor. Has anyone ever been up there and fished? My plan right now is to sneak out onto the harbor docks in the early mornings while the family is sleeping to try for smallies or northerns around the pilings. I will not have much time to fish other than when everyone else is sleeping. Not much info on the internets about the fishing up there aside from boat salmon fishing in the fall/winter. If anyone has any info it would be appreciated!

My dad travels a lot for work and that is one of the places he visits about twice a month. He has a travel rod he carries and does exactly what your saying. He loves fishing up there.. He praises upon using MEPS for the smallies and northerns! I wish you the best of luck! let us know how you do!Zach Bennett
