Fished Point Lookout Sunday morning. Got up at 3:30 and headed down there with my cousin. Started trolling around 7am. Took us about 2 hours to actually get a hit. Ended up with two 40's and one 38".

damn boy, nice fish! what were you trolling and where did they hit? planers, deep down, etc?

we were trolling tandem rigs on planner boards. We started out at 40ft of water but we had no hits so we went into deeper water, around 80-100ft. As soon as we hit 80ft of water we had to take downs at the same time and then 5 min later we had another.

do you know how much line you had out , what weight rigs and what speed you were trolling? i'd like to calulate the dept the tandems were sitting at, thus where the rocks were sitting at. did you mark the fish on the FF?

yeah...we marked all sorts of fish on the ff but they werent biting early in the morning. All our take downs came within 10min. They hit 2 poles at the same time and then 5 minutes later we had another knock down. The poles were set between 30-50ft out. They all hit on single parachute rigs...6-8oz each.
