Have you ever entered one of these Facebook on line sweepstakes? I follow Kayak Angler on FB..interesting articles from time to time and I am too cheap to buy a subscription...anyway they had a sweepstakes that had a nice pedal kayak as grand prize...entry was free, so why not? Down in the fine print was a bunch of other lessor prizes...Friday afternoon the US Postal truck drove up my driveway with a Amazon box addressed to me...What’s this? An early Father’s Day presents from my kids? Nope...it was one of the lessor sweepstakes prizes..a kayak anchor kit...who knew?

Come on down...although we are running about a month behind...small white perch have shown up and there is a rumor someone caught a speckled trout...have not heard of any reds being caught..and it is late for them...last outing I managed a feisty 22 inch Striper for supper, but even the Stripers are scattered..fishing is really off from a year ago...still some quality fish, but you earn them...
