Decided to take the yak out first time this season.Got on the water about 8am with a dozen bloods.Tried for the jumbo perch no luck not even one hit.Tied on a 1oz. spro bucktail and started casting away, caught two 12",three14",three16" and one 19" striper.Weather forcast said 5 to 10 mile an hour wind, with 1 foot swells.I am going to start multiplying the forcast by 3x from now on,came home soaked but can't complain I got out.

Nice report glad you got into them. I was on the west side of the bridge yesterday and could not get any action.

Did you get the stripers next to the bridge pilings?

Yup,bridge pilings and alot of casting. Not too many people out, only saw two other kayaks and were not fishermen.I had the east side pilings pretty much to myself.
