Headed over around 2pm while work was a little slow and fished the Jetty.
Started tossing my usual with no takers and decided to switch to a lazy purple lizard (Only brought 2
)
1st cast and the fish inhales it. Not a bad size LMB (17 - 18") and fat.
next cast I'm hung and lose my lizard. Tie up another one and 2 cast later I've got another decent feeling one on.
I thought I set the hook hard enough but she spit the hook halfway through the fight (Shoulda been using my MH rod but was using my M)
next cast hung and the lizard was lost. couldn't get them to bite anything else
Wrapped it up at 4pm
