Chain Bridge Skunk

Went out on Wednesday to Chain Bridge and got skunked on shad. I did see some nice herring in the shallows though and tried plugging some to see if there were any stripers around. None to be found. Even the birds were coming up empty so I do not think the shad have made it that far up the river yet. Probably this weekend!

Get 'em next time! I think the weather has just been staying cold and keeping things a bit slow waiting for me to get back

Might be time to switch to flounder
