Action was hot & heavy. Party of 8, hosted by Shady. Fellow MKF'r Chexone was aboard as well. We caught spot to top off the live well, then we went to live line. We limited out in about 25 minutes, with multiple keeper-size fish released. It was a blast.
After that, we went to troll for blues...but before reaching that target area, we came across birds working the surface. We bust out the lures and caught small schoolies. We finally got the 4 lines set out for the blues. We ended up with 9, biggest being near 20" reeled in by Chexone.
We finished the day off by bottom fishing for white perch, and more spot for their live well. Great day aboard the Katherine...as always. This was my 6 or 7th time out with them. Always fun.
