7.19.09 Sandy Point

I made stupidjet and grilled sardine take me out fishing on the boat (since i'm kayakless! shh!) and we fished the sandy point area. We went out around noon. We caught more than 2 dozen spot, most of which were rather large, many too large to live line with. A dozen went into the cooler, a dozen went into the livewell, and the rest we let go to catch another day I wonder why the spot are so big this year...

I caught 2 rockfish at 22" and 21", stupidjet caught 2 at 22" each and grilled sardine caught the nastiest fish ever.

That fish was nasty but awesome day fishing! I missed 4 or 5 hits, i'm not sure if I was setting the hook to quickly or not.
