    Worked the shoreline of Ft Carroll and then near some old piers and caught 2 Stripers @ 18.01" and 20ish (yakside release), 1 White Catfish @ 16", 1 Channel Catfish @ 20", and several perch to 11". I caught the fish on chartreuse gulp minnow, gulp mullet and nightcrawlers on bottom rig. Brought home 6 Perch 10-11".

    Nice!!! thanks for the report. another white kat kool!! did you hook the rock off the piers or around the fort. have not fished the fort looks like alot of perch could be had around the rocks... water looks calm thats a bonus! quality perch @ 10"+

      The striper were at the ft. There was a gaggle of small perch off the one corner of the ft but I didn't mess with them too long

              Just a word of advice, it's not a good idea to cross from ft armistead to ft Carroll at 5:30 am. Good thing I had the Torqueedo to make it past the cruise ship and huge barge... I felt like I was playing human Frogger

                    I wonder if the piers down at BS hold any rock or perch this time of year. That's the tough part about kayak fishing...to go "try" anything, it takes your day fishing by the time you get there and back. You can just run and gun to somewhere else if you're wrong.

                          The piers at bs do hold rock this time of year I would usually be out there or towards white rocks but I'm sitting on my porch nursing my bad back watching a snag liner pass me in a jackson with a bass yak motor hopefully I'll be back in action for cbka tourny
