Mattawoman Creek 8-30-14

Girlfriend and I took our kayaks down to Mattawoman this afternoon. Low tide was forecast for 4:47pm. We put in about 2:30 and fished our way up the creek. Low tide should pull the fish to the edges of grass lines. I cast Senkos, spinnerbaits and wakebaits to grass edges without any action. When we got close to forecast low tide I put on a G Splash (popper) and cast it to grass edges trying to pop it without moving it away from the edge. Caught one snakehead. They are fun. 009.jpg
