Merritt Point Park, Dundalk...9/1/2014

Finally got my son Max on his first kayak fishing adventure. We launched out of Merritt Point Park around 6:30am. It was a fairly productive morning, catching a few dozen perch, two yellow perch, and a fat channel cat. Max did great, the Moken 10 lite is a perfect boat for him. He ended up with the largest perch of the day, a five dollar foot long! A great experience I will always remember.

Really well for ten footer, stable but not the fastest vessel on the water. I took it out last week to make sure it floated. Perfect for the dam pool!

Good job! My Dad took me fishing as a boy. I have two lures in a shadow box that were his but I used them when I went fishing with him. You and your son will remember this forever.
