Fished from 7 to 1030 today and only had one lizard fish and one small speck to show for my efforts. Main Patuxent had a couple of small blitzes happening but they were up and down so fast I couldn't get to them in time. Decided to make a concerted effort to try and catch specks after that up in the creek. Picked up this small one off the end of a pier on a white grub. Tomorrow I'm going down to Smith Creek and hoping the mouth at the Potomac will be holding a better mix of fish and perhaps fewer trot lines than I was dodging all morning.
