Went down to PLO Friday, caught my first ever speck at 17.5'', some short flounders, lots of 12'' blues, some lizardfish and needlefish. Besides another 15.5'' speck I got, all others were babys, probably 8-10 total. All fish on various soft plastics, mostly 3-4'' white curly tails. Didn't catch or see any stripers.

Pretty fish and congrats on your first sea trout. Glad to hear specks are being caught with more frequency. They grow pretty quick and hopefully a lot of the smaller ones we're seeing recently will be keeper sized next year.
