  • Severn River striper report

Had a great evening paddle yesterday with my younger brother in LRB. At about 5:30PM, gulls were diving in various spots in the middle of the channels. We paddled hard to keep up, trolling various things behind the canoe. A 1/4 oz silver Kastmaster spoon produced 4 striper in about 45 min, including the beauty my brother pulled in (see pic below). While I failed to hook up, casting a white topwater plug at the breaking fish induced strikes. However, the school and the birds took off faster than we could keep up!

Bottom line: it's looking pretty nice out there, these days. Hope you all can get some water time in this beautiful fall weather.

That's a funny looking kayak, and it looks like someone stole half of your paddle?

    Congrats on finding the fish!

Your brother looks kind of familiar... Is LRB Little Round Bay? If so - did you/he go to Old Mill and wrestle?
