left work a little early to try and catch the falling tide at the Cedar point rip. Launched in Pearson creek on the Navy base and headed out into a bigger headwind and current than I was expecting. Took forever to pedal my way out while trolling along the rocks. No bites for the effort and the rip was a washing machine. Took many waves over the bow, snagged a crab pot, and no bites. Headed back and picked up 2 small rock fish and 1 pesky blue. Got a white perch in the creek and it was absolutely loaded with bait. Kept hunting for specks, but like the rest of the day, frustration. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.
