I decided not to go down to VA beach this weekend for once because of questionable forecasts, taking care of neglected things around the house today and probably heading over to MD tomorrow. Not sure yet, but looking at forecast and considering somewhere closer to me like Harry Nice or Beverly Triton. But also thinking about PLO or Pax river.

Might even go over to Pohick or Occoquan late this afternoon if I can get a bunch of stuff done first.

Haven't been to Beverly triton beach so I may have to give it a try. Not sure if others are heading out there.

Triton should still be producing. Launch and head for birds. Take some binoculars so you can see them better from the beach. They've been a couple miles from the launch lately.

No fee at Triton, but they don't open until 7am.

Speaking of triton beach, anyone ever fish the lake there? When I got into fishing this spring I went to the lake all the time and caught a ton of perch there. In he morning I can see "something" top feeding like crazy out in the late, beyond where I can cast too. I have seen hawks pull some very large looking fish out of the water and am consumed with evny every time.
