Clark's landing tomorrow

Launching around 7:45 tomorrow at Clark's Landing in St Mary's if any one is fishing.

Motorhead ruled the day this morning, and not the good one with Lemmy Kilmister. Launched to a perfect glassine surface, cool but not frigid temperatures, and I could see birds flying at the spot that's been working. When I rounded the corner my heart sank when I saw three motor boats converging on the area and they trolled right through the relatively small break that was happening today. Took all of about 10 minutes for them to spook everything to parts unknown. Spent the next 3 hours trying to find where they went, which certainly wasn't where I was. My first skunk of the year in Cuckold.

These boats weren't around over the weekend, so I guess word has finally leaked. Good while it lasted.

We got skunked yesterday in the big wind. Same thing happened...breaking fish get spooked by big boat cruising back to the dock...lots of leaves fouling the trolling lures too. Still, I observed bald eagles and the peacefulness when the wind subsided as we exited the water at dusk.
