Patapsco River

Goody and I made our final striper run for 2014 launching at the Francis Key Bridge. Fished from 9-3 and the action was short but decent considering the time of year. It seemed to hit right at the end of slack for 30 minutes then shut down completely. We both limited with a 22" and a 20.5" for myself.

Nice!! thanks for the report!! the River has been producing some nice fish this fall Glad you guys got hooked up!! yeah i think the tanker has a bit of a weight advantage...i prob would have thrown the towel in on that fight aswell!!! tight lines always!!

Now that would have been a sleigh ride to remember. Good job on the fish.

LOL. I had justed hooked up with a big striper which turned the kayak around when the tanker was coming. Ended up having to adjust and steer the kayak the right direction causing the line to slack and fish to unbutton. I lost the battle with the fish and with the tanker. I ended catching about 6 fish all together from 17"-19 1/2".
