Sandy Point (from the beach)

Caught 4 on bloodworms on the incomming tide this morning. All 4 between 18 - 19". Saw some others the same size brought in. Guy next to me reports a 26" yesterday as well as seeing a 41. B-worms are $12.00 a doz. at Anglers, both inside and out.

Thanks for the report, the bite was hot last weekend and I'm glad to see that it's still on. I'm planning to go back this Friday and maybe Saturday depending on whether or not my friend can make it!

If you dont mind me asking... What kind of rig do you use? I normally don't surf fish, but when I have its only been smaller croaker.

Helps to have a surf rod to handle the weight and distance. I was using 9' and a 10' rods with 1/0 circle hooks on top and bottom rigs. 3 oz pyramid on the 9' and 4 oz on the 10'. All hooks baited with 1/2 a bloodworm. Take a beach chair, it's a while between bites.
