    Enjoy the great posts about the great river fishing for stripers recently. Just a note of caution, be sure we know the regs for the areas fished. Some posts are looking for that over 28" trophy in the rivers.
    Most rivers are c/r only and some are off limits.
    Enjoy this great fishery.

    Thanks for bringing this up. The Maryland DNR has a series of maps showing which areas are open for keeping fish, which are catch and release, and which are fully closed. There are various combinations of rules for different periods during April and May.

      Yes great post would hate to see one of our fellow snag-liners with a citation for keeping a fish in non keep-able territory.
