I'm looking to get a couple new spinning rods for worms and other soft plastics. I mainly fish the Potomac creeks. Been looking at the St croix mojo bass and St croix rage. Trying to stay in or below the $150. Any opinion on these rods or even advice on looking at another rod would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

St croix make quality rods. I have 3 of them i used to use all the time till i upgraded to custom rods. I like 7' rods with a line rating of atleast 10lb.

Thanks man. I'm likely to pick one up tonight and give it a try in the morning.

I like a medium to medium heavy rod; 6'6"-7' long. Near perfect for kayak fishing the Bay.

The Rage has a better blank SCIII vs SCII in the MOJO Bass. But some folks don't like the handles. I sort of do.
