New to bay kayak fishing

Hi all, fish out of a boat in the bay on weekends and LTJ for rockfish. Use my kayak mostly on reservoirs but looking to fish during week days after work (5pm) and most of the reservoirs close at sundown. Looking to take my ocean kayak big game 2 out on the the bay in the evenings (not in the dark though its rigged w lights). Live in odenton and wondering best place to launch? Never been in the Severn- like fishing the bay bridge but never done it in a kayak. Normally launch my boat out of the South River. Any advice for a close launch near me to LTJ for Rocks or even just white perch?
