I work in Ft. Meade and was thinking of hitting Sandy Point to do some fishing by the bridge or the light bouy. From the reports, it might be best to wait a week or two. Correct??????

I haven't been on the water nearly enough this year. That crazy (bleep) mother nature needs to get back on her meds...and stop messing up the weather.

i fished out of sandy point on sunday for about 3 hours. nothing. few other kayakers out there, hopefully they had better luck than me. there was a sea of rays swimming among the crab pots to the south in 6' of water.

Fished out of Sandy Point on Sunday as well, 6a - 12p. Conditions started well then worsened, unlike the fishing which was dead quiet the whole time.
