Went out today and caught one bass a bunch of cats and the attached strange fish. I used to catch fish like that in HI, but never in fresh water. I tried a bunch of different lures on the troll, but fire tiger was only one that got strikes.

Did it smell terrible? Those things are everywhere right now and spawning. You probably snagged it as I don't think they're thinking about eating right now. I casted at them for hours last year in the duck pond and only foul hooked one. Cool fish to watch though!Used to fish more.Comment
