Tie in 15 Strands of Chartreuse Crystal Flash

Tie in 3" hank of Chartreuse Ice Chenille

Wrap hook shank with lead wire and coat with Sally Hansen Hard as Nails

Wrap Chenille around hook and tie off. Finish head with Sally Hansen.

Somehow I caught more pickerel today then perch! 4 pickerel to boat, largest was 21"....only 3 perch. Everything was caught on the spinner shown above. My son caught one perch and almost snagged a ray, they were thick in Weems today. I was anticipating a better day with perch, I only brought spinners, should have brought a few jigging plastics...they could have been deeper today.

Nice pickerel.

I actually targeted them yesterday in another Severn tributary.

I got 7 to rise to fly rod poppers and two in the boat. But my largest was only 15 inches.
