We left for Piscataway Creek at 5 am, got on the water by 6, me in my PA, my buddy Craig using my borrowed Ride135. Threw a few half-hearted casts for bass but the cat action on shrimp and cut shad was so consistent that I soon gave up on the bass. Ran into a fisher from Catfish Nation that was using 16 oz sinkers in the main current, trying for 50 lb plus monsters. We stayed in the inlet and I settled for a half-dozen 14" to 19" dinner sized fish that totaled over 20lbs. Caught them on 1oz sinkers on 14lb line. Left the water at 10:10. It was a grand morning. Celebrated with a beer before heading for home.
