  • this morning at Ft. Smallwood 7/20

Lance and myself launched this morning from Ft. Smallwood Park to a calm launch. Lance hooked up with a small striper soon after launch. I fished around white rocks, plenty of perch caught with "on the mark" spinners, but no stripers found there this morning. Trolled in front of the park and I hooked up with a 20" striper. During our trolling both Lance and myself had our paddle tails bitten off, think there are some small blues out there. The winds started kicking up and white caps followed. we fished the coves a little and returned in by 10:30am.
