My wife and younger daughter both love to fish, so I've got it easy. Best thing I can tell you is to get out and get the local area figured out so that you can get them on fish quickly, that gets them interested and lights that fire of desire. Worst thing you can do is get frustrated when they make mistakes or don't want to listen to you giving them tips on what works for you. You have to be able to let them fail, lose lures, get distracted, and let them quit when they have had enough. The worst thing you can do is get mad when they don't listen to you.

Same things you do in everyday life raising a family. Set them up for success, be the cheerleader when they do well, and the comforting dad when they fail. I told my daughters they are allowed (and expected) to make mistakes, that's part of growing up. When those mistakes lead to involvement with police, fire dept or hospital, we've crossed the line of acceptable mistakes.

I think the mirage drive has a two year limited warranty, which has expired for me. This last year I have replaced a good number of parts on my mirage drive. Maybe I'm just getting near it's shelf life. Make sure you inspect this area on your mirage drive....the more research I did the more I realized this is a very common problem with the mirage drives. I have already received a new leg shaft and installed it, but I also ordered a new set of aircraft aluminum legs for insurance purposes.
