I was there thursday and only got one dink Striper. Saw some fish on sonar but had no luck with big kastmasters or white jigs. I'm headed to homewood farm park tomorrow Sunday morning to fish off turkey point and docks.

Where is that?

Beverly Triton Beach Park - it's on the other side of the bay from you. If you google Anne Arundel parks you will find it. It's a nice free launch that puts you just south of the South River and yes the rocks are showing up albeit scattered.

Just got back from fishing the south river from homort down to south river farm park. Caught 6 really healthy looking stripers in the 18-20" range. Lots of WP as well. Will be making perch tacos tonight. Also got my first pickerel casting into fallen trees for perch. Wasn't too big but was happy to release at the side of the boat.

I'm not sure if the morning bite is better than the afternoon or I'm just a terrible fisherman. So far for the last 2 yrs my best fishing on the south river has been in the morning with really only1 keeper striper in the afternoon. Still looking for my first bluefish.

Fished on Saturday vs Sunday - managed two fish.. unfortunately the first fish was 32" but in pretty bad shape so released him and then managed another 23.5". 20150829_100511.jpg20150829_090101.jpg
