Rockfish in St Inigoes Creek

Yep, the Rockfish are getting bigger again- fall pattern is setting up- big schools of silversides to feed on- lots of bluefish and a few spanish macks- there are reports of an occasional speckled trout here and there but no concentrations, yet- throw a small clark spoon with red plastic trail on the hook with an in line trolling sinker (yeah, it can be done) into the schools of silversides and reel it medium fast to get the Spanish Macks and blues- slow it down and catch the Rockfish...

Nice catch! I will be at Smith Creek / ST Inigoes in the morning. Hoping to catch that keeper. Got close Friday with an 18 "incher, but that was it.

where is St Iigoes creek located?

Southern Maryland , Smith Creek close to St. Mary's River

It's just off the St Marys river above Smith creek.
