Got on the water at 9:30am Monday at Goodhands. My first time there and I hooked an 18.5" Striper right at the mouth of the creek. Though this was going to be an awesome day but trolled for 4 more hours with nada. Pulled up and headed over to Wye river. Fished around the island and caught four Stripers the largest at 22". The 22" was right at dusk on a Smack it popper. Headed back to the Wye on Tuesday and caught 8 more Stripers the largest being 19.5" a couple 18" fish and the others 16-17". The plastic of choice was a white swinging hammer or pink flinchin minnow. I had a chartreuse / white flinchin minnow in the spread most of the day which is usually good but no takers. My friend caught a nice 26" Striper on a white/pink grub which was one of my rejects that I gifted him. Not great numbers but two great days on the water.
