Took the canoe this trip because I was with my new girlfriend.
The weather was warm and calm with an outgoing tide. Her first time out, she was quite a handful. But on the far east end of the lake I hooked into my first Speckled Trout. It was small but still a first for me.
Maybe if the dog sitter is available I can get out on the river later.
