I really want to put in at Beverly Triton tomorrow morning between 7:30 and 8 AM (family obligations early in the AM)
HOWEVER - Unless I'm reading the websites wrong it looks like the wind is going to be really bad tomorrow so JG could be a nice alternative. I've been so busy with work and family that I haven't been fishing since the last time we hit JG...
What time are you looking to hit the water?
I'm tempted to head to Beverly Triton just to check the conditions and then catch up with you near JG if it's bad...

Screw it... windfinder is showing 20mph winds... I'll see you at JG, I might be a little late but I'll be there. I want to give trolling a shot too so I'll hit you on the radio as soon as I get on the beach.

I was on the Severn and Whitehall Bay this evening with winds at 15-17mph gusting to 22, Ne. Waves were 1-3. I found the dink striped bite active (nothing bigger than 6") with perch hit or miss on the windward sheltered areas. I was considering launching again tomorrow am, but am rethinking seeing 24mph gust to 28. If you do go out, advise caution as you near the naval academy.
I hope to launch early from Tucker St ramp in Weems Creek. I will see how rough the Severn is and decide where I go after that. My plan, if the waves allow it, is to troll the shallow shorelines on either side of the river. I will be in an orange Slayer Propel 13.
I suspect that the northern shoreline of the Severn upstream from Jonas Green will not be very rough because the landmass will block most of the wind.

I was out from 7:30 to 10:00 on the river today. The Severn was not rough between the bridges and upstream. The southern shoreline had about a 6"-12" chop. The northern shoreline was calm. I found a few little stripers in the river but nothing large there. I saw a few other kayakers from a distance but did not talk with anyone else.
